Poker Coaching

I know exactly what you are going through right now. How? Because, I’ve been in your shoes. It is hard learning how to play profitable poker, but the good news is there are cost effective ways of getting good fast that doesn’t cost a small fortune!

Are poker videos, hand history reviews, and poker articles just not enough? Poker coaching takes your game to an all new level and it does it FAST! Poker coaching isn’t the cheapest option, but it is the fastest way to get good at poker. If you really think about it, poker coaching really isn’t that expensive. If you are tired of losing buyin after buyin at the poker tables, why not spend a few buyins on poker coaching which will increase your win-rate? Not only will you earn your money back tenfold, but I’ve had students on several occasions earn more in an hour session than they paid me for that session! When is the last time you got paid to get significantly better at poker? Now, since poker has a luck factor to it, I can’t guarantee you will win money in a one hour coaching session, but what I can guarantee is you will become a better poker player. Better poker equals more money won and less money lost!

What Do You Get With Coaching?

  • Every new student gets a FREE 30 minutes on their first session!
  • Thorough analysis of your HEM reports tab to uncover overall areas you should improve on
  • We discuss your poker goals and how they can be accomplished given your individual life circumstances
  • Personalized coaching plan that includes….
    • Sweat sessions (me watching you play)
    • Hand history review
    • Leak finding for both you or your opponents
    • Theory/Concept discussion
    • Holdem Manager Analysis
    • Video reviews (we watch a video of you playing, which gives us more time to talk about individual hands and fast forward through boring parts)

Still not convinced that poker coaching is the right option? Every new student I get will receive a free 30 minutes with their first paid session! I do this for two reasons. First of all, I want to get to know you better. Not only your poker stats and your poker goals, but who you are and what your life situation is. I think your approach towards poker should transcend isolated hands at the poker tables. The reality is we all have goals and difficult life decisions so my goal to get you headed down your individual path to prosperity playing a game you love. The second reason I give you free time is because it gives me more time to find leaks in your game. My coaching is highly personal and caters to your individual strengths and weaknesses. The extra 30 minutes allows me to better assess your leaks and problem areas so we can spend more time plugging leaks! My poker coaching is all about you. Ask any one of my current and former students and I’m confident they will have nothing but good things to say.

What is the structure of my coaching? As with all things in poker, it depends. My coaching style is highly personalized so you can expect to get a totally unique experience from my coaching. Usually the first session starts with me getting to know you while going through your poker database. After about 20-30 minutes of identifying obvious leaks, we dive into live play so I can see how you think about hands on the spot. To wrap up the first session, we cover all major leaks that stick out like a sore thumb, we identify areas we are going to be monitoring in the future, and we set goals as to how we can act upon the topics we worked on. Many times the second session goes over hand histories to monitor how well you adjusted to new strategies and avoided pitfalls. Since everyone is different, the coaching schedule usually diverges from there from student to student. I have done all sorts of coaching sessions including sweat sessions, hand history reviews, video reviews, concept overviews, leak finding, and a combination of two or more of these coaching styles. Live sweat sessions are the most popular followed by hand history review, but I’m open to other forms of coaching if you learn better that way.

My coaching rates are some of the cheapest in the industry. For just $60 an hour, you get my undivided attention and personalized poker coaching which will help you adjust and profit from the games you currently play! If you want to buy coaching hours in bulk, you can save money by getting 5 hours for $275. My goal is for you to get better for the cheapest price possible, so if you are a member of Grinder School I will give you an even bigger discount! PM me at Grinder School and I will get you coaching for $50 an hour and $230 for 5 hours. Why do I do this? I think a part of growing as a poker player requires a diverse range of learning tools. Coaching is the best and fastest way to get better, but because of price, most people can’t afford to do a few hours of coaching a day. Videos on the other hand offer top notch poker strategy from multiple coaches for a very cheap price! So with your poker coaching savings, you can now afford the $19.99 video strategy over at Grinder School. More for less… now that is what I’m talking about!
