Here’s a new series I’m going to be starting and I think you guys will love it. I see a lot of my students interested in what hands they should play as a “standard hand range.” Obviously you shouldn’t always play one way or the other. You should be adjusting and fluctuating your range based on table conditions, such as position, villain type, stack sizes, etc. Watch the video below to find out what over 200,000 hands of 6-max at Minted Poker has taught me.
If you guys don’t want to go in depth with the video, then check out the charts below. Print them if you have to… seriously! Do what you have to do to play a +EV hand range!
Early Position (EP) Opening Hand Range for 6-Max
Middle Position (MP) Opening Hand Range for 6-Max
Cut Off (CO) Opening Hand Range for 6-Max
Button (BTN) Opening Hand Range for 6-Max
I really hope you guys have learned something new about your game. I sure know I have. It is amazing to me how even 3 years in, I am learning new things about my game and realizing I’m not adjusting correctly in many spots. There is always something to improve on! Go ahead and try it out for yourself with your tracked poker stats. What hands were you surprised with? Answer down below in the comments!
